Maple Green Property believes in making co-living sustainable.

From the properties we select, build and design to how we operate and deliver these shared houses, we seek out ways to be more sustainable at every stage.

All of our properties have a minimum EPC rating of C, and below are some of the features we install in each in order to promote a more considered way of living:

• Superior insulation and draft exclusion and double glazing on all windows

• Furnishings selected and positioned to increase insulation and heat retention

• Power comes from 100% carbon neutral or renewable energy sources

• Smart thermostats help save energy

• Electrical appliances have eco modes and high energy efficiency ratings

• Household recycling infrastructure established

• Back-insulated radiators to increase efficiency

• Showers and taps with eco modes, and toilets with dual flush cisterns

• Energy efficient LED lighting and timer switches in shared areas. Eco power strips reduce power vampires
